Elitch Gardens

Saturday was Kevin's work day at Elitch Gardens! It was a little cold, but we had a great time.

Later in the day, Nicole went on these boats by herself, and in the middle of the ride, she decided to unhook her seatbelt and try to climb out of the boat...she had one foot in the boat and one foot hopping/dragging along the cement for several seconds before the operator hit the emergency stop button. I ran in to get her and to give her a BIG lecture, and she said, "But I have to go potty!"

We have a couple videos I hoped to post, but we need to figure out how to splice them because the files are way too big. Stay tuned...

Aunt Tammy's Babysitting Service

A few days ago, while under my care, my neice, Kate, had a little mishap with the tile step down to our family room :) I was trying to teach her how to turn around and go down the step backwards, but her hand slipped off the step and she bumped her mouth and got a fat lip!

Spoiled by Aunt Peggy

We asked Aunt Peggy to help Nolan with a project for his kindergarten class by sending a postcard from NYC...but of course, Peggy sent much more than a postcard. This is probably my favorite picture of Nolan and Nicole (aka Rosanne Rosannadanna).

Welcome

I've had enough prodding from family and friends to update our family's website...but instead I decided to start a blog. We'll see how it goes...

Learning to Skate

Nolan had a great time playing hockey on our homemade rink up at the cabin this year, so we decided to enroll him in a "Learn to Skate" class in February.

Cousins

Kate (11 mo), Matt (6), Ryan (4), Nicole (3), and Nolan (6) on Matt's birthday last week.

Dalmation Day

Nikki had Dalmation Day last week in her preschool class to celebrate her 101st day of school. Her face makeup got a little smeared during the festivities (only her nose should be black). She had a great time.
